KATIE STEINER

Katie Steiner is a stylist with almost 10 years of experience and has achieved the highest level of Mastery at Cutting Loose Salon.  She combines her skills as a stylist and a teacher in her role as the Director of Education for Cutting Loose’s Advanced Education Program.  Also a Network Educator for Bumble and Bumble, she has received advanced training from innovators like Nicholas French, Ammon Carver, Ted Gibson, Beth Minardi, and Paul Mitchell.

Katie has attended the Jamison Shaw Academy three times, perfecting her French Cutting and Balayage techniques.  She regularly attends educational events such as Serious Business, Paul Mitchell the Gathering, and Inspiring Champions.  She was named as the Intercoiffure Atelier Top 10 for two consecutive years for creative cut and color in the new talents in North America and Canada category. She has worked backstage as a hairdresser at Intercoiffure Nouveau in New York City and Miami and also done photography shoots with Style Magazine and photographer Tom Carsons.

As an educator, she loves to teach how the French Hair Cutting System and Balyage highlighting technique can transform a haircut, for both the client and the stylist.  Her impeccable technique and attention to detail increases the efficiency of the hair stylist, saving time and increasing productivity.  When she is behind the chair, Katie loves applying her advanced education to creating one-of-a-kind looks that express the client’s own individuality and make them feel beautiful.
